Spectacular Studios = Los Angeles 2013

Los Angeles here we come..

So…Decition is taken and we are right now working full steam ahead
We are moving Spectacular Studios to West Hollywood  after new year.
This is something we have been discussiong and working on the last 3 years
and now feels like the perfect time wth great opportunities and collaborations.

We are keeping Spectacular Studios here in Sweden as our Headquaters and platform
are will be working and living at both places the next few years.

The wonderful collaborations we have is something we will continue
to work on and we have work booked to winter 2013 with workshops and advertiment work.

We are looking into finding a new studio and office due to that we do now need all
the space we have today at Karlavägen.

Newsflash

Maria Oldenstedt Legge is right now working on a couple of great workshops and seminars for Redken over here in Sweden
She is putting all focus on sassion within the haisfashion and beauty industry and.
In this we will release new wonderful images and even some new video material.

In this Maria is doing some really great collaborations with a famus Swedish designer and other
very interesting people in the industry. and with the artists from Saints Row Agency

This is just one of Marias new things she is doing with Redken and she was taken onboard in their team
this year as one of their inhouse Session stylists and invited to their International Creative team.
Maria is right now attending the Redken Artistic Team program and are working on being ready spring 2013

Los Angeles Office

We are right now working on re-location Spectacular Studios and move to Los Angeles
Our plan is to open up in the beginning of 2013 and move over 1 may.
We are still keeping the office and creative platform in Stockholm and will of course continue
to work 100% in Europe and Scandinavia with both new and old customers.

We will however have a new manager in Sweden that will handle Spectacular Studios
and a new agent to handle all artists at Saints Row Agency.

We will in this also work in New York and have a small base there as well alongside some

Workshops and Seminars

We are right now in the middle of a hyper creative process with Spectacular Studios

Maria Oldenstedt Legge is working on 2 big workshops and seminars and have signed up for
Toupema Belgal until 2015 as their Creative Stylist and artistic artist.

The workshops is for REDKEN and will be starting in Januari  and will be a
Mix of a workshop within Session and creativity,
This is her introduction as Redkens new Session Stylist and the start of her international
collaboration and education for them.

The Other workshop is for Toupema Belgal and their new brand Balmain hair. Maria was given the honor to be Balmains artistic presentator and artist in Sweden, and will be doing advanced workshops for all their present and new customers all around in Sweden.
She will be presenting their new products as well and new ideas to work with them.

Eric Legge is right now in the middle of setting up our new company in Los Angeles and
are fixing our new platform and office over there. We have a date set to move over in may 2013
In this we are opening up a new company as well to handle all our workshops and seminars
and will be releasing this wonderful new in the very near future.

Tv shows,Tv commercials and Editorials

We have had a crazy time at the office now for the last 4 weeks.
So much wonderful work and collaborations for both right now and the future.
As it looks right now we are booked with some wonderful jobs,shows and fashion events and workshops
Already to summer 2014.

Right now we are smack in the middle of both Tv Shows,Tv Commercials and fashion shoots
The tempo right now is a a crazy tempo and we just love the buzz of creativity.

We also have a new member working at the office with us
Nina Tulppo A graphic designer  that are now a new member.
Nina and Maria are right now right in the middle of creating the graphic profile
for Marias new concept House of Session ,
She is opening 1 jan in Stockholm, and then 1 may in Los Angeles

Big production for Weight Watchers

We are right now just in the middle of a big  commercial production for Weight watchers here in Sweden, all based on a campaign they have been doing in USA alongside wonderful Jennifer Hudson.
Spectacular Studios together with Saints Row Agency have been the creative team.

We have been doing this now the last 2 weeks with preparing a famous swedish artist and worked on a Music TV  Show and are doing the still shoot and the commercial film tomorrow .

We are doing this is a wonderful collaboration with ELFVIK FILM and their Production manager Jenny Johansson and the wicked film producer Mike Adelica  alongside The Producers and The Fan Club
It is still under great secret who this artist is.. But watch out after New Years for the Weight Watchers Commercial and advertising images..

Maria Oldenstedt Legge have been the Creative artist and the Hair /Make up artist working on the full design for our wonderful artist  Creating the final look, On special request from the Production team
Our Stylist Dyvecke Berg have in thsi been coordination and handling all the styles and final approach.
Eric Legge  have been the Navigator and manager connecting the artists and teams.

Fashion Editorial at MUUSE Copenhagen

We are in wonderful Copenhagen doing a wonderful fashion editoral for MUUSE 
and are at the same time doing some really cool Look-book shoots for their promotional book.

Maria Oldenstedt Legge has been creating this shoot together with their In-house Photographer
and Stylist in a new collaboration and to build up a new platform in Denmark.
We are looking into expanding to the Danish fashion industry, were we find so much more passion
and inspiration than anywhere else in Scandinavia..
They show hands on WHY they are the fashion capital of Scandinavia.

Editorials,advertising shoots,commercial videos,fashion shoots…. And a new place <3

We are moving to a new really cool office 1 January and will share it with House of Session

Since we are opening up a new office in Los Angeles in May at Sunset Boulevard ( secret until we move )
with House of Session we decided its time to get a new cool place here in Stockholm.
We found a spacy place just perfect and just 8 sqm smaller than this.
Right now we have the handyman fixing the place, new paint of the walls and a great touch-up
The cleaning crew is jumping in on monday to fix the last bit with the new flooring and kitchen part.

We have a new Art Designer working with us full-time that will remake Spectacular Studios
graphic design, that we will also release in January if all goes well :)

We have over the last few month since we got back from Los Angeles we have been doing some really wonderful advertising shoots and commercial films, as well as a bunch of editorials and fashion shoots. All will be released now in January.
Lets just say we have had a really full schedule and are so happy for everything.

Redken Symposium in Las Vegas and LA plans

Things are really happening here at Spectacular Studios is a high velocity speed.

Besides that we have a new HQ here is Stockholm that we are moving into right now
and that we are opening up House of Session  things are just hitting us in a crazy speed
fast track to creativity and time warping.

We are attending The Redken Symposium at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas the 19 Jan – 23 jan
Maria Oldenstedt Legge is invited as a part of Redkens team to attend and meet their creative team
and to really see how they work on the international stage.

After that we are taking a trip to Los Angeles to start sorting out all needed paperwork and looking at a new office place
and a apartment or a house. Our plans to move partime to Los Angeles and work in May looks to be on the schedule so far + a week or so.

Los Angeles updates

Since we arrived in USA things has been going in hyper speed.
So many wonderful people and new companies to collaborate with.

We have found 2 amazing artist that will work very close with us here in LA
and we have found our way in to the industry and the well needed collaborations that is
what we feel our backbone to be able to create what we want to.

Spectacular Studios has been in full focus alongside House of Session and
Maria Oldenstedt Legge as we have presented our companies and  strategic plan
focusing of the right artists to work with and finding the most creative and innovative
Entrepreneurs to collaborate with.

We will be working with the entertainment law firm MS&K and the company strategists TriNet 
They will be helping us with all the steps necessary  to manage everything in a correct way.

MTU Gymnasium + Spectacular Studios 2013

Sometimes its just time to give back to the new generation of creative and wonderful artists.

We all at Spectacular Studios – Sweden have now signed a collaboration with MTU Gymnasium for Media and Photography
That we feel are aiming full force on a new creative way of teaching.

Someone We also feel is the epiphany on what this is all about. A young hyper-creative girl
that will do a big part of her education alongside our artists developing her passion and future.

This young creative Jenny Wall will be our main assistant within everything we do when it comes

Melrose Avenue Jun 2013

We have our date set for jun 2013 and our opening in Los Angeles
Looks like it will be on Melrose Ave we will set up shop alongside a very very cool haute couture and shoe shop.
Right now only sorting out the last paperwork and company management in LA.

Our wonderful friends at MSK Law are helping us with all the paperwork
and planing out all speed-bumps.

Over here in Sweden we are full booked and are working like maniacs to keep up.
Our new office is ready and we just have small things to fix.

Cant wait to pack our suitcases and get this show ion the road :)

FORUM NACKA

The ad campaign is all over the place. It is Forum Nacka’s 20 year anniversary AND they are celebrating their 1 year anniversary since the big Grand opening from their renovation.

Emmanuel Honold latest updates

French fashion photographer, Emmanuel Honold has some new and fabulous images he’s just added to his portfolio today.

With a masters degree, Emmanuel is an Art Director in advertising agencies such as Mac Cann, BCRC and Novembre from 1992 to 1995. He also worked as a Digital Designer from 1995 to 1998. With his interest for photography and background from the media industry, Emmanuel started as a professional photographer in 1997.

…and never stopped working since then…

LONDON CALLING

SPECTACULAR STUDIOS GOES LONDON.

We just opened a new company in London, Spectacular Studios LTD.

And are actively planning and looking at moving the HQ to London along side with a salon and Studio. This is one of our steps to go even more international and open up new doors and possibilities for our artists and clients.

We are aiming to have this ready around next summer/autumn if everything goes as planned.

We are launching a BIG event alongside with Nineteen74 and Schön Magazine in the next coming 2 weeks, this is just a small start of what we are about to do and open up in London.

A BIG thanks to Gabriel Wood and Peter Featherstone from 279Hosting for all help to make this a possibility and for all the help. It’s rare to meet so driven young people, eager to help and be a part of what we believe in and what drives us.

New updates / Things are happening!

Spectacular Studios has since the start 4 years ago evolved and developed in a wonderful way.
We are constantly renewing and rebuilding our company to be able to meet up with the demands of our customers and all our artists. We are rebuilding the website little by little and have a new big office in the center of Stockholm.

Alongside with the Salon Studio Black which we opened at he same time. We also made a great collaboration with Studio F and now have our own spacious Studios located in Stockholm with great possibilities for all of our clients.

During the last year, Spectacular Studios have signed some wonderful partnerships and collaboration deals with companies within and directly attached to the advertising and fashion industry. Spectacular Studios owner and front figure Maria Oldenstedt has together with the salon Studio Black also managed to sign a collaboration deal with TIGI Sweden as a full sponsor to Studio Black and herself as a hairstylist and Make up artist. The last week Maria signed another wonderful sponsorship agreement with the international well known Make up brand FACE STOCKHOLM.

We also signed a collaboration with ELITE HOTELS as our main sponsor for all events and accommodations, both as a service to our clients but also as an in-house service for all work and promotions.

Nicole Östman, our Pr & Artist Manager has really managed to update and renew our client lists and assisted with artist portfolios as well as assisted with the collaborations during the last two months she’s been here. We are in the process of rebuilding the site in 2010 with a new Showcase/Portfolio and a client list page.

We are also planing to move the HQ and main office to London in 2010 with the same concept and idea we have here. Combining a Studio Black salon and an office space for Spectacular Studios. We are looking forward to this big move.

We really want to send our thanks to all people involved in what we do and to all collaborators and clients that have been pushing us and helping us to become what we are … Spectacular Studios 100 %
We will have a small party/event in December to put a star on a truly amazing year.

The finals are over..

The finals are over. Maria didnt take home the grand prize. The winner was a really amazing young artist from Canada named Lina.That i am sure we will meet over here in the near future. alongside with so many other wonderful people.

Maria said : You cant win them all baby.
*Now i am dead and so so tierd and just want to sleep and relax.
and just the get the nomination and get a Artistic participation prize and be involved in all this is wonderful. So many wonderful and great talents all over the world, Only that is a inspiration and something i will take with me home. Now its back home and full steam ahead.
Now we are going to the Venice mask party and im going to enjoy all this wonderful things
and get alittle tipsy :)
